Tradelist/Tauschliste, updated 05/28/01, letzte Aenderung 28 May, 2001
AND HERE THE SMALL PRINT - UND HIER DAS KLEINGEDRUCKTE!!!
S = Shrinkwrapped/sealed (incl. cart, box etc.) = Komplett, eingeschweisst/versiegelt
C = Cartridge = Modul/Cassette
B = Box = Schachtel, Verpackung
M = Manual/Instructions = Spielanleitung
O = Keypad or Screen (for Vectrex) Overlays = Tastatur- oder Bildschirmfolie
E = Extras (Inserts, Trays, Covers etc.) = Zusaetzliches
Number = condition - Zahlencode = Zustand
1 = mint or almost mint
Neuwertig oder sehr gut
2 = minimal wear (carts: very good; boxes: small folds or creases nothing missing;
manuals: some very small folds, no creases!)
Minimale Gebrauchsspuren
3 = typical average wear (carts: good, perhaps a price tag; boxes: both flaps are
present, a few folds or creases, perhaps one of the tiny side flaps missing or
a price tag; manual: a few folds, perhaps a price tag etc.)
Durchschnittliche Gebrauchsspuren, selten vielleicht ein Preisschild etc.
4 = lots of wear (carts: a few big scratches or small! parts of the label missing;
boxes: perhaps one of the big flaps missing, folds and creases; manuals: folds
and creases, perhaps a corner missing on a few pages)
Ueberdurchschnittliche Gebrauchsspuren
5 = barely surviving (carts: major parts of the label missing; boxes: barely in
one piece, rips, some flaps missing etc.; manual: just holding together, major
folds and creases - you get the idea)
Funktioniert zwar noch aber ist in miserablem Zustand
C = copy of manual
Kopie der Anleitung bzw. des Handbuchs
I got so much email about some details so here are...
A few notes: if a manual is in good, average condition but has a proof of purchase
coupon cut out (without missing important parts of the instructions) I'll rate it
as a 3. It's rare and only the case with a few Atari 5200 manuals.
Should I have multiple copies of an item I'll list the best condition available.
If you just want a cartridge to play it and don't care about the condition let me
know and I'll check my inventory.
Some cartridges from Activision, Fisher-Price and sometimes Parker have the glue
blotching through the label = ACTIPLAQUE. I will rate cartridges with very minor!
Actiplaque as 2 and cartridges with medium or strong Actiplaque as 3 - assuming
the rest of the cart fits the rating standards.
Cartridges with a metallic label (like Imagic, Micro Fun, Spectravision) will be
rates as a 2 if the have almost no wear, even if there are some other very minor
imperfections. Metallic labels will be rated 3 if they show typical wear.
If a shrinkwrapped item has a rating other than 1 this means that the box shows
some wear beyond very slight! shelf wear. For example a shrinkwrapped box which
has two rounded/'dented' corners won't be rated 1, a shrinkwrapped box which is
a little squished will be rated around 3. The cartridge inside and the manual are
of course probably still a 1.
OVERALL I TEND TO RATE ON THE PICKY SIDE! ASK QUESTIONS *BEFORE* TRADING, I'M
INTERESTED IN LONG-TERM TRADING RELATIONSHIPS WHERE *BOTH* PARTIES ARE HAPPY!!!
