Goku is the third title from the Multimedia Creators Network also
responsible for 3D Museum and Melon Brains. It represents director
Hitoshi Aramata's interactive interpretation of the Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World. Goku is an edutainment title mainly for kids but also
holds some interest for adults.
Navigation through the various menus is easy and some of the
on-screen concepts are rather unique. Goku is a great technology demo of
what the LaserActive system is capable of if pushed by creative
developers.
The graphics are truly stunning! These were obviously rendered on
some high-powered workstations and are very crisp and detailed.
Switching between different sequences is almost seamless. Sound is encoded in RSS
but lacks the richness of other LaserActive titles.
One of the better edutainment titles for the LaserActive system! |
