Q: UGP online says that Bomberman was finished for the Jaguar, but was never released. Do you guys know anything about this?
A: Sure do. Actually, one of the staff members of Next Generation Magazine was the lead programmer on the project. Essentially, Atari was going to get the license from Hudson for it (after the game was nearly complete) and then in the face of the Atari merger with JTS, the project was deemed not feasible by Atari and canned.
