Even Jag owners will soon be able to Shut Up and Jam with this variation on the 16-bit basketball sim. As with other versions of the game this takes a more casual approach to the sport with matches taking place between various groups of homies in a variety of urban and seaside venues. The graphics have been created using video footage of real people so it's got a sort of MK with balls look.
There's old Charlie boy looking a bit fat and sweaty if the truth be known.

FT: Yeah, and that was a very difficult title to produce just due to the developer and in some ways it was a very painful process but I think what almost got done was, you know, kind of interesting and it would have been nice to actually see that released. I'm not exactly sure what the final status of that project was but when I left it was almost complete. But apparently it was never released, never really got over that hump.

Players will encounter some of the baddest b-ball players on the streets as they try to rule the game's 2 on 2 streetball tournament. Charles Barkley-Shut Up and Jam is expected by the end of the second quarter.

Charles Barkley Basketball is an over-the-top, in-your-face two-on-two basketball game. The player has 20 characters to choose from including Charles Barkley. There are also two modes: versus and tournament mode. In versus mode, pick your players and go at it. In tournament mode, if you're good enough, you can even end up endorsing products as your work your way through the tournament to meet Charles Barkley in the finals to see who really is the best.

This game has 20 characters to choose from including Charles Barkley, and two separate modes of play. The first mode is the standard "versus mode," where the player just chooses his character and plays. The other mode is a tournament mode, where the player can end up endorsing products on the way to the final against Charles Barkley. The game can be summed up as a texture mapped NBA Jam without the special dunks. This is another four player game, and is set for a September release.
